IMC Toys presents its novelties at the international toy fair in Nuremberg 2020

Terrassa, 15th of February. IMC TOYS once again presents its novelties at the International Toy Fair in Nuremberg: one of the biggest and most important fairs dedicated to the toy world, hobbies and leisure articles.

The fair lasts 5 days, from the 29th of January to the 2nd of February, with 2943 exhibitors from 70 countries and more than 60.000 visitors from 136 countries.

Visitors had the opportunity to meet first hand and discuss their bets for this year, the strategies for each brand and the main novelties of IMC Toys portfolio. IMC owes its success to the doll, collectible and games categories. Big novelties were presented under the brands of Bloopies, Cry Babies, Cry Babies Magic Tears and VIP Pets.

The Cry Babies brand has set its lead position inside the special category of dolls this year. IMC keeps innovating with the presentation of new characters, new accessories and a new concept of doll under the Cry Babies brand.

In 2018, IMC presented the Cry Babies Magic Tears, a collectible under the Cry Babies brand. It was accompanied by the successful animated series that has become a phenomenon on YouTube on a worldwide level. In 2019, the Fantasy World was introduced along with the second season series which built on the success of the collectible, being present on more than 20 kids channels around the world. In 2020 you will see season 3 of the animated series with new worlds, accompanied by new characters under the Cry Babies Magic Tears brand.

Bloopies is present in more than 25 countries, with an increase in sales in 2019 thanks to the launch of Bloopies Mermaids. IMC TOYS will launch the new collectible product Bloopies Shellies at the beginning of this year under the recognised Bloopies brand. Earlier this year, IMC Toys has accompanied this line with an animated series based on the Bloopies characters.  Currently there are 13 5 minute long episodes.

VIP PETS are one of the big bets of IMC TOYS for the new season. The product comes in semi-blind packaging and has a character inside with extra-long hair. Kids will enjoy combing and styling the pet’s hair. IMC Toys predicts a lot of successes on this new line of product and it will be accompanied with strong digital content in live action and animation 3D series.

Laffies was one of the others novelties presented in Nuremberg. A new brand starring 3 funny babies that laugh out loud if you discover the 5 points of interaction. Moreover, there is some very special digital content: a series of live action and for the little ones, an app to interact with them more.

Also, BOWSIS were presented, a collectible of dolls in a bow form that girls can put in their hair.

CLUB PETZ, the interactive cuddly toys from IMC Toys were also presented in Nuremberg with 2 big novelties: SILVER MARINE MISSION and BABY UNICORN.

With the aim of reaching new audiences never addressed before, SPEEDY DICE and TOTTEM OF TRUTH games were presented under the PLAY FUN brand. The TRUTH DETECTOR game is still a success and others novelties are yet to come.

Regarding licensing area, we exhibited novelties under Mickey & Minnie, Frozen 2 and Minions: The Rise of Gru based on the new movie launch in July 2020.

Without a doubt, thanks to the effort and great team work done throughout the year, we have been able to show an outstanding wide range of products.
